Kenwood DPC-81

Hi Kaosun, I have a  Kenwood DPC-81 (1991) Player. The player starts when I plug it in, and then it blinks "00 0000" and flashes "batt.", and CD spins up, the laser moves, but does not read. Any idea if it can be repaired or what it's worth as-is and/or repaired?

I suggest checking the motherboard and replace all leaking caps, clean PCB. It should work again. Or, you'll replace the laser.
