Got it! I thought that since you have a stash of RF-410 motors you may also have an access to all those other "unobtanium" parts. Thirty years do interesting things to plastic gears: one of the gears in my Philips simply melted. Not crumbled or got shaved by other gear after being stuck (that's Sony's problem) but got dissolved by the original grease. Gears to the left and right, being made from slightly different plastic, are OK, but this one turned into gel... ...so many ways for a little baby of PCDP to die...  |
