D55T Laser diode replacement

It's a SONY D55T has reading issue. Inspection indicates the laser is aging. So in this repair I'll show you how to replace a laser diode.

It's weird! It looks like a kind of totem???

The vertical lines indicate the oxidized lens inside of the lens. You'll replace all the aging optical components, cleaning ordinary doesn't work to them.

Aging optical components are quite common on this laser. From other KSS110 threads here, you can see the comparison of aging component with working one. Color changed from purple to yellow.

If you have a spare SF89 laser, why not replace it for a try before sending it to me?
